12 Days Of Kiwi Christmas!

 We were learning how make our own version to the song the 12 days of Christmas. Instead of using my true love gave to me we used best mate gave to me and also we had to make our slide about kiwi/Nz Christmas. So we had to go in a group my group had five people including myself the people is my group was myself, Leilah, Hazel, Maddy and Naiya. 

I found it easy to write the words but at the same times we had to go from slide to slide to see what's next! So the writing was easy but sometimes instead of going from slide to slide we just memorized it. 

I found it hard to find the right background cause it had to be like new zealander pictures but I don't think all are new zealander because its hard to tell the difference. 

Next time we will try and make more descriptive words.  

The Hawk Attack

We were learning how to make a piece of writing about a moment in time. We had to watch a video about a squirrel and a hawk in this piece of writing I was pretending I was the squirrel. We could either be the hawk or the squirrel. The hawk was trying to eat and trying to get the squirrel. The squirrel  was trying to run away from the hawk. It ended up escaping from the hawk by going in a little hole into the tree. For the squirrel it was hard at first to get into the hole but he or she made it. When he or she went in there the hawk was trying to get into the hole and peped his head through the hole to see if he could get in. But the rest is into the story so check out the story, which is on the second slide. 

I found it easy to copy and paste the story to a slide because we did a draft in a doc and then we copy and pasted the words from the document to the slide. 

I found it hard to make the cover page because I used multiple photos. Some photos had to overlap the other because I didn't want peekaboo white which is no white showing. The only white that should be showing is in the photo or in the word are which is the title.  

Next time I will write more about the story because the story is like three minutes long so I thought that I could write a bit more.

 

What Christmas Means To Me!

 We were learning to make a slide about what christmas means to me. This was meant to be a letter to the gisborne herald but we also turned it into a slide. The first slide is santa eating his cookies and milk. The table was made with polyline and the photos of santa and the cookies and carrot and milk is just used with the explore tool on slides. The picture was made on a google drawing but then transferred to slides. The first slide is about what christmas means the me then if you turn the page you will find a writing about what christmas means to me. 

I found it to write the piece of writing because I love Christmas. This story isn't all of the stuff I do on christmas day but this was just some that I could think of. I included the yummy food the my Nanny makes, also when my cousin hands out the presents and decorate the big house! 

I found it changing to polyline the table. I had to put a picture of the table and then used the polyline tool to draw it. 

Next time I could maybe turn it into an animation with santa delivering the presents and drinking the milk and giving the reindeers there carrot. 

Acrostic poem

 We were learning how to make a piece of writing about guy fawkes/fireworks. The type of writing we had to use was a acrostic poem. I chose fireworks as my word. The words that I could of used were guy fawkes and bonfire but I chose fireworks because I thought it would be the easiest one to use. If I used guy fawkes I thought that some letters were gonna be hard to do. 

I found it easy to add the background but I had to add the background to the side a little bit because the work are the most important thing of writing not the backgrounds, not the picture not anything just the words. 

I found it challenging to make the first letter of the sentence it because I had to do it  individually. I also found it hard to think what to put for k but I luckily found after a long time. 

Next time I will add more descriptive words and maybe change the font. 

Shapes In Maori

 We were learning the shapes in maori, to teach everyone what they are. In this slide I included a circle, oval, square, pentagon, heart and a diamond. There was the maori name up the top and the of the shape and the english name down the bottom. After this your going to know ALL of them!

I found it easy to add the shape in and add the words into the shape. First I just did the shapes plain grey but then I thought it look a bit boring. So I changed it to colour shapes.

I found it hard to find what size I can make my words.

Next time I will add a font to it because its just ariel and bold so I think it would look more better if we changed the font.

Real Or Fake

We were learning how to know whats real and whats fake online. Always check if its the email from the company or bank if they send you a call or email because they could scam you for your money so never give passwords to anyone unless its real or if you know them. When on a website make sure it has the lock in the corner or the search bar because if it does have a lock its real but if I don't have a lock its probably fake. Also check if it has the https in front on search bar.

I found it easy to add my picture to the first slide and remove the background of the picture you took. 

I found it hard to write the words and think of what to write.

Next time I will make myself to something more cooler! 

Real or fake

Today we were learning about whats real and what's fake. Always check if you get an email saying that someone wants your password for something like your account or bank password never give it to them and always check if it has the right email and don't ever give people your passwords. When on a website make sure it has a look in  the corner of your search bar and check if it has http in the first sentence of the website.

I found it easy to add the fake background on the first slide.

I found it hard to add the picture and take the background of the picture out and try and place it in the right place.

Next time I will add feet to myself of the picture.
